Job Information
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Larsson & Kjellberg, is seeking a CNC operator for their milling department in Oxelösund. You will work on a project basis with machining larger welded components for customers in the energy, construction, and defense industries. You will be responsible for the entire process around your machine – from setup to finished detail – and participate in daily management as well as project and kickoff meetings together with colleagues from production and technology.

The work takes place in production in Oxelösund alongside approximately 30 colleagues on the shop floor, in close dialogue with supervisors and CNC technicians.

The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Larsson & Kjellberg for 6 months. The intention is that you may eventually become directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Job Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC milling machines for larger components
• Perform self-checks and measurements according to drawings
• Work with operator maintenance and simple troubleshooting
• Report production time and deviations in the CRM system
• Contribute to improvement work and optimization of work methods
• Participate in project meetings related to new assignments

We are looking for someone who

Has experience in CNC machining and is used to working independently on machines. You have a good understanding of reading drawings, measurement technology, and cutting machining. If you have worked with Heidenhain before, it is an advantage, but if you have experience with other control systems and ISO programming, we see that you have good opportunities to quickly get into the work. Experience with other control systems is fully sufficient – training in the current system will be provided on-site.

You have very good skills in Swedish or English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with dialog programming, such as Heidenhain
• Forklift or overhead crane certification
• CNC training or green card

Furthermore, you are self-sufficient in your machine and take responsibility for both quality and time estimates in your assignments – something that is important in a project-based production where every detail counts.

START: By agreement
SCOPE: Full-time. The position is initially scheduled for daytime, but shift work may occur. Currently, two shifts are applied on certain machines, where the working hours are morning shift 05:30–14:00 and afternoon shift 14:00–22:30 (free Friday afternoons). Daytime is 06:30–16:00 and Fridays 06:00–13:00.
